Went for an impromptu movie date with Mark last week - this after 2 days of me desperately looking for a gimik buddy :P Puwede naman ako manuod ng movie mag-isa kaso yung itsura ko last week, mukhang kawawa talaga siguro ako pag may nakakita sa'kin :) Was soooo bored, maski bumabagyo gusto ko magpunta ng mall.
Mark took heart, so we decided to watch the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 at Rockwell (nakita ko pala si Jake Cuenca bago kami magkita ni Mark :P ayos lang, mas guwapo si Jai :P yessssss..). I'm a fan of the book series so really had to watch the movie. I liked the 1st movie better as well as the book version :( Pero atleast, nakita ko ulit ang white houses ng Greece. Haaaay, nakakapang-laway na naman..
Thank youuuuu Mark for agreeing to come with me! :) Angel kita for the day :) We should do that more often... There was something about that day that really made me smile, and I think it might just be the impromptu-ness of our "date." So a BIG thank you! Thank you din daw sabi ni Jai :)

love in the time of eyebags

Yan ang tinatawag namin ni Jai na "eyebags love." Haha :) Syet, bad eyebag genes. Hala.
And na-f-foresee ko na, madadagdagan pa yang bagahe namin in the next couple of months. Noooooo!! Hahaha :)
Please let us sleep :)

I feel like such a lola. Parang ang brittle ng bones ko, no joke. Hard to stand up from a sitting position at mas lalo naman paggaling sa kama.

connected 24ever
I love my friends :)
Can't really live without having someone to talk to :) I love talking with Jai, of course, but some topics, I just have to discuss with my friends. Iba ang take nila sa take ni Jai at mas lalong ibang-iba sa take ko - which is good, because sometimes I need a hard push to slap me back to reality (hence my wish in earlier post for more reason).
And for my forever favorite recreational complaining (recreational complaining = complaining for the sake of complaining :)), sa girls lang talaga puwede. Otherwise, pag nag-complain ako kay Jai, baka sugurin nya lahat ng taong nirereklamo ko. Tsk tsk, not good :P

nearing the end line
Excited but at the same time, very very very scared. Yiiiiikes.
I have no idea what I'll be doing, so I'll need some major hand-holding :)

sad thoughts :(
Ang iniiiiiit. Imposible makapagpahinga sa ganitong init.
----
Sad that Sara left already :( Parang di kami masyado nagkita at nakapag-usap :( Would have loved for it be just like old times, but circumstances permit otherwise. These are some of the signs we're really growing up; we have our different priorities already. Happy to see our group together again (although we're still missing Angela) but a bit sad that we can't spend all our free time with each other. The last how many years have been a blur, really, and you can't capture that over one cup of coffee.
I know I'll still see them though :)
----
On that note, Alvin and Sara's wedding was wonderful :) Watching the video is a bit icky kasi naman, kinunan pa ako na umiiyak. Aside from their personal vows (hmpf), something about their wedding made me cry.
I saw Tito Tey, warm, supportive, and loving as usual.. And I can't help thinking... If it was me getting married, ganun din kaya? I can't find that confidence within me to say yes, it will be the same. And it hurt so bad, because you have this dream, this fantasy, and you're not sure if it'll happen. Not like my "big" dreams about Greece ha, but the simple ones that I've always thought will surely happen - they're somehow drifting away. I'm not sure if I'll ever get them back.
I have no concrete plans for how my wedding will look like. I have zero plans... No idea what colors I want, where I want it to be, what food will be served, which dress I want, wala talaga. But just that portion - where everyone's HAPPY, everyone's PRESENT - it's supposedly non-negotiable. And I'm so scared that the absence of it will negate everything else.
No regrets, don't mistake my sadness for regret. Sad lang talaga.
----
At first I kept thinking, it'll get better in time - like how everyone tells me it will be... But it's been how many months already, and things are still the same. I'd like to be a believer, but a voice keeps saying, "Don't."
Resentment is slowly starting to seep in. Haaay, happy thoughts..
