natatawa lang ako...

Hindi ko actually sure kung ako yung tinitingnan niya dun sa 1st pic pero pagbigyan niyo na :) Kahit mukha ako tanga, sigeee na lang :) Hahaha.

i am all of them :)

My Philo professor in College told us, "You are everyone you meet in your life." He wasn't a very good teacher, but this simple statement, I carry with me till now.

We learn from everyone we have a chance encounter with. Be it the security guard who opens the door for us everyday, our househelp who religiously tends to us, our supervisor who reprimands us from time to time, our best friends whom we spend hours on the phone with. We learn from their heartbreaks, their joys, their strengths, their sorrows, their triumphs, their faith, their kindness and generosity - what we become, we owe to them. Even if they hurt us, we learn from that: whether we become mean to others because of what they did or we vow never to inflict the same pain to anyone. And the simplest manifestation: when someone warmly greets us "Good morning," we, unintentionally, pass on that warm greeting to everyone we meet that day, diba? :) And it goes on and on..

And as much as other people influence us, we also play a role in the persons that they become :) So as much as many many many people have touched my life for the past 24 years, I would like to think I have touched other peoples' lives as well :) Yay :)

Get to know yourself better :)

From Karen :)
http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

Your view on yourself:
You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education
Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.

The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Happy Holidays, everyone!! :)

It's been a year since that fateful NY trip... It's been a year of changes, good ones. I feel as though I was trapped for a very long time, and that trip was meant to give me the courage to break free. The first few steps were awkward, hesitant, difficult even... The next steps, however, were easy and reassuring, fueled by hope that there is something better waiting for me and I only have to have faith.

Something better indeed! Sobrang dami actually :) Jai, of course is one. But contrary to what most people would think, he's not the be-all and end-all of everything good in my life. He's a big chunk, yes, he brings out the biggest smiles in me, but beginning about a year ago, I re-discovered my family, my friends, my goals, my "career," and all this ultimately led to re-discovering myself.

It's funny to think that one trip can have that much impact on one's life... But funnily enough, that's what it did to me. The biggest irony of it all is that I actually thought about turning down that trip because of various thoughts running in my head. I was hungry for change, but just like the next guy sitting beside you, I wanted everything to remain the same out of fear of the unknown, the uncertainty of tomorrow. It's a habit I'm trying to get rid of :) And I'm now eagerly waiting for things yet to come :)
